What Should We Do with Impact Crusher Vibration?

Impact crusher is a new and high-efficiency crushing equipment and very popular with users because of its low price and excellent performance. But when impact crusher is in operation, vibration often occurs along with work. Though it is inevitable for machines for being affected by motor and other power units, but the vibration can be mild and violent. The mild vibration can be accepted as normal phenomenon, but if the machine vibrates abnormally or violently, it is necessary to check if there is something wrong with the impact crusher.

Impact crusher is a type of crushing equipment making use of the impact force to break materials. When impact crusher is running, the rotor is driven by the motor to rotate at a high speed. Material enters into the hammer plate action zone, and collides with the hammer plate on the rotor, and then is thrown to the counter device to be broken again, and finally is rebound to the hammer plate action zone from the counter device to experience a second crushing. This process is repeated again and again.

The causes of vibration is not simplex. There are several situations that may cause machine vibrating. Such as the rotor imbalance. For this case, we need to adjust the rotor. Besides, material oversize can also cause abnormal vibration. By then we should inspect the feed size of the materials to ensure it conforming to the requirements for material dimension.

In addition, the improper handling of the foundation can cause abnormal vibration either. This problem can be solved by checking and fastening the anchor bolts. Similarly, the wear to the impact hammer is another factor of abnormal vibration. If this happens, the impact hammer should not on service any longer and need to be replaced immediately.
