The Correct Start and Stop Methods of Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher machine is a crusher machine widely used in various industries and it has many outstanding advantages such as simple structure, reliable working condition, convenient repair and maintenance low production cost. The operation and maintenance of jaw crushers are crucial, which includes the start and stop of this crusher equipment. Correctly starting and stopping jaw crushers is conducive to improving their production capacity.

1. Preparation work before starting jaw crusher

(1) Check whether the main spare parts are in good condition, whether the adapting pieces such as fastening bolts are loose and whether the safety device is complete.

(2) Check whether such equipment as feeder machine, conveyor equipment and electric device are in good condition.

(3) Check whether the lubrication device is in good condition and whether the valve of the cooling water pipe is open.

2. Starting and normal operation of jaw crusher

(1) Start jaw crushers according to the operation specification. The starting order is the inverse manufacturing flow.

(2) When starting the main motor, pay attention to the ampere meter indication on the control cabinet, and after 20s~30s, the current will reduce to normal working current value.

(3) Adjust and control the material feeding to make it even and the material granularity should not exceed 80%~90% of the width of the feeding mouth.

(4) Generally speaking, the temperature of the sliding bearings should not exceed 60℃ and the temperature of the antifriction bearings should not exceed 70℃.

(5) After the electric equipment automatic trips, if there is no specific reason, it is forbidden to force the equipment to continuously start.

(6) If mechanical failure or human injury happens, immediately stop the machine.

3. Correct operation of the stop of jaw crusher

(1) The order of machine stop is just opposite to the starting order, which is along the direction of the production flow.

(2) The work of lubrication of cooling system must be carried out after the crusher machine is stably stopped. In winter, the circulating cooling water inside the bearings must be drained to avoid the frost crack of the bearings.

(3) After the machine is stopped, it must be cleaned and checked in the spare parts.
