Stone production line, also called sand making line, is the dedicated production line for sand and stone in industries, such as construction, highway, railway and so forth. The principal equipment includes jaw crusher, impact crusher, hammer crusher, tertiary crusher and sand maker. The sand production line is appropriate for limestone, cobble and quartz sand, among which cobble is of higher hardness compared with other material. Apart from normal maintenance when dealing with cobble with impact crusher and sand maker, special attention should be paid to other subtle problems.

Preservation of jaw crusher includes maintenance and lubrication. Good friction surface lubrication work ensures the normal operation and long service life of the machine. Regular check and replacement of components should be kept. The abrasion becomes obvious when material with high-hardness is crushed. The easily worn components like jaw plates and toggle plates should be detected carefully in their operating life. Operators should have a clear mind about the serviceability limit of the equipment.

The jaw crusher cannot be started with material in it. The dust collector (selective), discharged material conveyor, jaw crusher, fed material conveyor and vibrating feeder should be switched on successively. The steel goods or parts should be prevented from entering the cavity. Conditions permitting, the vibrating feeder can be equipped with iron-removing device. The feeding capacity of the feeder should be increased gradually. Generally, the height of the cavity should be controlled within 4/5 of that of the cavity. The granularity of to-be-fed material should not be more than 4/5 of the width of the feed port. Even particle size of material can ensure the optimal efficiency of jaw crusher.
