Three Factors Causing Temperature Anomaly of Jaw Crusher

Under normal circumstances, working temperature of jaw crusher is generally maintained at about 5 to 10 degree above ambient temperature, which is caused by the heat naturally generated in crushing work of jaw crusher. However, according to the feedback of some jaw crusher users, there are abnormal heat situations in using process of jaw crusher. in the case of each operation is correct, abnormal heat of jaw crusher may be caused by abnormal work of itself. The following three factors are the chief reasons causing temperature anomaly of jaw crusher.

1. Temperature of movable jaw

Jaw crusher mainly relies on repeated action of jaw plate to squeeze and roll materials, thus realizing crushing of materials. Moving parts of movable jaw is closer to fixed jaw. After having crushed the materials, movable jaw is away from fixed jaw, and materials are discharged from discharge opening. Then we can see the big working strength of movable jaw. So, the temperature of movable jaw is easily abnormal. When the temperature reaches a certain limit, it will inevitable cause the damage of jaw plate. Hence, it's very necessary to take certain measures to solve abnormal temperature rise of movable jaw so as to avoid downtime caused by equipment failures.

2. Temperature of friction parts

In high-speed running of equipment, the powder generated by friction will be totally converted into heat, thus causing the rise of temperature of friction parts. When lubricating the friction parts, the lubricating oil constantly absorbs heat from the friction surface to send them out, thus reducing the temperature of friction surface.

3. Temperature of bearing

When jaw crusher is working in high temperature, users should firstly pay more attention to temperature of bearing and keep it in good lubrication condition. Secondly, to timely lay emphasis on sound and vibration of jaw crusher, it they are abnormal, immediately stop to check the machine. After having identified the reasons, we should timely solves the problems, thus keeping jaw crusher machine always in good condition.
